Wii Points are Wii's unique currency that can be redeemed in the Wii Shop Channel to purchase downloadable content such as Virtual Console games.

Wii Points can either be purchased online via the Wii Shop Channel using a credit card or simply by buying Wii Points Cards from retailers.

Also, if you are a registered member of the Nintendo of Europe website (www.nintendo.co.uk) you can purchase Wii Points in the Stars Catalogue. By registering Nintendo products (such as a Wii console and software) you are awarded Stars that you can exchange for various goodies, including Wii Points.
